"Eric - as if I am on a first name basis with this genius - exhibits his uncanny ability at the six-string; as well as the mandolin, on an eclectic voyage through multiple genres of muxic. Not often will one hear flamenco, gypsy jazz, delta-style blues, and modern folk all wrapped into one - particularly by the same artist. Mind you, he throws in other tawdry bits of his own musical flair, but manages to captivate his audience with his tactical fretboard ability along with his brooding baritone vocals. Though don't be too smitten with this acoustical, yet independent masterpiece; 'cuz Mr. McFadden attempts to redefine rock with his, Eric McFadden Trio (including the virtousity of James Whiton on upright bass and the percussive genious of Paulo Baldi on drums). Behold and enjoy."
