Material Issue Comes Alive!

"Although this appears to be an EP of live tracks, it's almost at full album length, with a few unlisted songs crammed onto one of the tracks. Either way- this is M.I.'s official live cd. All the "hits" are here. This is essential to any Issue fan's collection, and it's become somewhat of a collector's item.

Vocalist, songwriter and M.I. leader Jim Ellison was on fire- all energy, total rock and roll, and the band was really firing on all cylinders that hot night in Chicago, at the Metro. The cover of Sweet's "Ballroom Blitz" is a great bonus and listening to this whole cd makes me really miss this great rock band. Also included is the studio version of "Goin' Through Your Purse" which features guest Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick on guitar.
