Frank Sinatra. Harry Connick Jr. Michael Buble. Now comes the latest in line of the romantic crooners. Enjoy the music of 23-year-old Matt Belsante and the Chris McDonald Orchestra as they swing their way through 12 holiday classics making for a best-selling Christmas album for years to come!
I own lots of Christmas music and this one leaps right up to the top. This CD will bring a smile to your face. It's got musical sophistication without the in-your-face attitude. Matt's voice is clear, mellow and easily up to the orchestration which keeps the groove in the right place. A surprisingly satisfying record from a relative unknown. I hope Belsante keeps recording - I'll keep listening.

"All I can say is OOOOOOH CHILD!!! This CD is fantastic. With a voice as smooth as butter and a sound to rival Buble and the other Jazz vocalists of our day if you are a jazz fan or not this Christmas album is where it's at. And on top of that he is such a hottie... OOOOOH CHILD!"

"Matt Belsante's Christmas album borrows heavily from some classic arrangements from the past - notably Ella Fitzgerald's wonderfully dizzy take on Sleigh Ride - which serves the album well. It has a classic-fresh feel, much like recordings by Michael Buble. Energetic and youthful, Matt's vocals tend to slide and bend a bit too stylistically, sometimes pulling focus from the wonderful lyrics and melodies, but it's a minor quibble. Overall this CD is a charmer, and one you'll want to keep as part of your Christmas music library for repeat whirls!"

"A fun, swingin' collection of traditional Christmas classics with some unique arrangements. Chris McDonald and his orchestra, combined with the intimate warmth of a voice sent from heaven, make this the must have album for all jazz lovers at Christmas time.
