Album DescriptionFollowing up the personal success of their first album Lowtech, Matters & Dunaway have upgraded to produce their second release of the conceptual tech trilogy, Midtech. The five tracks amounting to twenty-five minutes of music on Midtech has once again satisfied the creators, however, underground acknowledgement is whats desired with this ep. Beginning with the up-tempo "Movement", raw organic drum and bass beats layered with a minimal string arrangement drives you into a frenzy. The second track, "Spidercheck", drops the ill Post-Rock groove to keep your head bobbing, but allows you to keep your cool. "Orange Code" lowers you into Ambient Rock bliss as your wrapped in warm pads and delayed guitar riffs under bouncing rythyms. Electronic beats serve as the foundation of the last two tracks. "Stars in the Lake" delivers structured, ambient, blissed out, trip-hop that could possibly gets us that car commercial deal we've been waiting for.
