"Matthew Fox's Pilgrim is one fine CD. This is a real mixed bag of great acoustic music by a talented mandolin and guitar player. He has some heavy duty talent backing him up, too. Peter Ostroushko, the mandlin wizard from St. Paul, MN, Dakota Dave Hull and fiddle and mandolin payer Kari Larson help him make some really enjoyable music. He is no slouch as a writer, either. The instrumentals "Ona's Lament", "Captain's Waltz" and "Sol Mineur" are standouts and so is the Lyle Lovett influenced vocal "Magnolia Waltz". This is one fine acoustic album and quickly becoming a favorite of mine.L.J. Mattingly"
