"Introduced to Matthew's rock tenor vocals over 25 years ago while spending hours upon hours listening to 2nd Chapter of Acts, I was immediately mesmerized by his talent. He continues to be one of my favorite male vocalists.



Excluding one song, "Christmas with Matthew Ward" comprises all traditional sacred Christmas selections. "Glory To The King" was a new and rewarding listening experience. His twist on "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" is refreshing. In addition, the slower take on "Angels We Have Heard On High" is unique while "In The Bleak Midwinter" is a beautiful and peaceful arrangement. There isn't one song included here that I didn't enjoy.



Out of 11 songs, five selections received 5 stars and six received 4 stars; giving the entire CD 4.45 stars! If you're a fan of the group 2nd Chapter of Acts or if you want to hear an awesome tenor then this is a Christmas CD you won't regret purchasing.

I have enjoyed the music of Matthew Ward for many years,

both his solo works and his recordings with the group the

Second Chapter of Acts. This recording of Christmas songs

is mostly familiar carols, with one original song "Glory to the King."

If you like Matthew Ward's music, you will enjoy this recording!"
