"Maureen McGovern is one of the great singers of the 20th and 21st centuries. She definitely gives Streisand competition and I've felt that way for nearly 20 years! I'm happy that Ms. McGovern was the first out with a Alan & Marilyn Bergman album. Steisand has sung their songs for years and I've always wondered why she's never chosen to do an album devoted to their songs. Both singers have the voice and style which do justice to the Bergman's music and lyrics! I highly recommend this album..."

"Maureen McGovern's new release "The Music Never Ends" was recommended to me by a friend. It was a wonderful recommendation. The songs are beautiful and the arrangements are amazing. Maureen McGovern's voice is liquid and it is no wonder that one of the arrangements, "The Summer Knows," was nominated for a grammy. The arrangement for "The Windmills of Your Mind" is incredible as well.I found it to be the perfect accompaniment for a quiet dinner or a nice glass of wine."
Brilliant

"What a great CD. The songs written by Alan and Marilyn Bergman are brilliant as is Miss McGovern's interpretations. As a collector of Bergman lyrics, this is the best collection I have run across.
Interpretation and sidemen are important and Maureen covers both those issues well in the CD. She has chosen great selections from the Bergman songbook.
She is backed by great musicians such as Tom Scott who opens the CD with some great saxophone work on one of the great songs of our time "How Do You Keep the Music Playing?" and Gary Burton who plays some beautiful riffs on "Make Me Rainbows".
The beautifully "intelligent" lyrics ( as Grusin says in his brief note on the CD)are beautifully sung by Miss McGovern.
Perhaps my favorite CD ever.
BTW, Miss McGovern is outstanding in concert as well.
