Wide scope of Jarre's musical work for films

"This significance of this album is the earlier music. The music written for the famous French film director, G. Franju. The characteristic Jarre sound had already crystallized at this stage. The later selections on this recording are a testament to various musical idioms which Jarre can write for while maintaining his own unique style."
