CD Reviews

Good album to Have

"I am a Mavado Fan. The Gangster For Life Album was the best albumn since Next Millennium. This one had all the the hit Songs. But It was lacking exclusives for the hardcore dancehall fan...For those who dont know Mavado they wouldnt Find any faults, the songs are Solid. I wished there were more skits on the album like there was on Gangster For Life. It is also missing a song like heartbeat...My girlfriend loves that song...Mavado should have did one for the ladies again.

Pros:

Very Positive Lyrics

Still Have some hardcore Gangsta Chunes

Mavado voice got better you can hear experience

Hit after Hit

You can play this album none stop no skipping tracks

Overcome=One of the Best songs right now

Overall I would give the album 8 out of 10

One point lost because no skits and no love songs for the ladies

the Next point because no exclusives.

I would recommend this album to anyone who likes dancehall...its the Best Dancehall Albumn out right Now."
A better tomorrow

"Mr Brooks, Is a show of growth for an artist that just came in to industry within the last 3 years and surpassed everyone in the dance hall, reggae industry it is an follow up to a album(symphony of David brooks) that really was much unpredictably good of content of rhymes but also the right combination of real struggle and real people if bad spots trying to do good, then to bad people enjoying being bad and finishes up with actually good songs about different topics, now 2 years later with success and ney sayers he now has to prove he is bad enough to get the praise he is now receiving from other places so people wanted a old version or dance hall with same topics from the last album but he didn't stay in the past and now "A Better tomorrow" shows growth in topic discussion to the point you feel there is really a better tomorrow for a young talent that seems to have limit less potential"
