CD ReviewsA queen in Sweden Carlos Torres Moura | Brazil | 03/23/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is the first volume of Maxine Sullivan Sweden studio records in 1978 and 1981(the collection ends at the volume 5 but volumes 3 & 4 are not yet printed!). Maxine was brilliant in all her carrier, with a sense of feeling and swing that remembers the best days of the forties. The personnel - all they Sweden musicians - does a conventional but efficient support to the singer. Maxine sings some masterpieces such as "For All We Know", "A Cottage For Sale", "Bewitched" and the gorgeous Monaco/McCarthy melody "You made me love you" , a Judy Garland hit that Nat King Cole sang in an unforgettable record. The CD runs sweetly swinged for sixty-five minutes. It's a good buy!"
