Thanks again for stealing my work.

"As the producer of Baldwin Street Music, I am terribly disappointed that the folk at Proper decided to produce their box set by directly taking from my previous releases "The Le Reuban Bleu Years Complete Recordings 1044-1949" (BJH-303) and "Swinging Miss Loch Lomond - The 1950s" (BJH-314) aside from other label's products. I understand that European nations consider these recordings PD and have to pay very small sum to the publishers to release them, but what about someone's intellectual property? I have spent thousand of dollars to restore these classic recordings from shellac discs and worn-out reel-to-reel tapes. We also pay enormous amount to the publishers in USA and Canada. I wished that this collection sounds even better than mine, but the producer took the easiest way by copying from me (the conclusion after carefully comparing track by track). That's why they can sell this box set so cheap. Very sad."
