"Klasse! One of the most popular MEGAHERZ CDs has now received a North American release. Originally released in Germany in October of 1998 under the name KOPFSCHUSS, the tracklisting for this release is identical to the original recording. The differences between the two CDs lie in the packaging presentation. In the original KOPFSCHUSS release, the Clown was holding a gun. The coverart for the North American release has been censured and the gun is missing. The CD booklet has been reduced to a slim fold-over insert and only a tracklisting is provided.
Standout tracks are "Miststück", "Jordan", "Freiflug", and the cover of Falco's "Rock me Amadeus". This music is beat heavy and guitar driven. Keyboards, sounds, and samples enhance but never overwhelm the atmosphere. The vocals are deep, powerful, and dripping with emotion and heart.
This CD is as exciting and musically relevant now, as it was in '98. I will never grow tired of this CD!
