"The record is very much angry as it is indie/rock. She gets her point across. The critics are right she does have the best voice out of the other girls. She has proved once again that she can do it on her own without the Spice Girls. I thought it was brilliant!"

"I just saw Melanie C live in New York at Irving Plaza and I cannot wait for Northern Star to be released. She put on an unbelievable ROCK show. She played for a little over an hour and even did a great rock version of Wannabe. This CD is going to surprise alot of people and blow away music critics."
