"The final release on Boner Records before leaving for the majors. I must admit this is one of the best Melvins releases to date only five songs but well worth it. The Melvins like to dick with your mind and this record is no exception. They neglect to list any of the songs, and the orginal title of the record was Lysol before they were threatened to be sued. The song listing goes as follows. 1. HUNG BUNNY 2. ROMAN DOGBIRD 3. SACRIFICE 4. BALLAD OF DWIGHT FRY 5. WITH TEETH.. Sacrifice is a cover of the classic flipper tune, while the ballad of dwight fry is an alice cooper cover. The best song in my opinion has to be with teeth this song alone is well worth the money."

"this one came out in '91. its one of the very few albums that included the almighty Joe Preston on bass. one of the great things about this CD is that all the songs are all on one track. so it forces you to listen to this long, winding, sludgefest in its entirety. as most Melvins fans know, this (along with Houdini) was the pinacle of their musical career. after this, they made some great albums and some good ones, but never better than their self-titled album (previously titled "Lysol", but they decided to change it once they were threatened with a lawsuit). it would be ultra-cool if Ipecac records would give this album a deluxe re-issue treatment. it definitely deserves it."
Best......song ever?!!

"On their last album before going major, the Melvins created, arguably, their best....song ever. Originally titled "Lysol", its one track is actually six songs fused together as one lumbering beast. They are: Hung Bunny, Roman Dog Bird, Sacrifice (Flipper), Second Coming (Alice Cooper), The Ballad of Dwight Fry (Alice Cooper) and With Teeth. Though the majority of the material on the album is not theirs, the Melvins sucessfully make it their own with crushing precision. Like a huge, lead wrecking ball being lowered upon you from above, you start to feel the weight of these songs about midway into it and by the end you are choking and gasping for air."

"Originally titled Lysol, this might be their finest (half) hour. I hold this up there with Exile On Main Street, Volume IV, and A Love Supreme as one of the greatest albums of all time.
It makes me smile, EVERY time."

"Look no further, this is it. The heaviest album ever! When I put this album in unsuspecting people always say, "What the hell is that". After the drums kick in they just sit there in disbelief. The next statement is usually, " I have never heard anything like that, who is it?" Do youself a favor and buy this album, you won't regret it!"
