CD Reviews

Quite possibly the best melodic death metal cd ever.

"my title says is all, I ordered the european version from (theendrecords.com)mailorder about 4 months ago didn't know what to expect from this band never heard of them before. Theend is selling this cd for about $13-$15 if i remember correctly, this band has 3 cd's this was the first i purchased, within about 6 weeks of this purchase i went back and purchased "Everblack" there sophmore release, no slouch in itself i have a review for that cd as well. I just got there Debut cd "First Breath" as well about a month ago, 11 dreams and Everblack are awesome, first breath is a little more raw but that's to be expected sometimes from a debut cd, but still very very good, slightly less melody and a little more brutality, but with Everblack and 11 dreams, they are no longer chasing bands like Dark Tranquility, Soilwork, In Flames, this cd is going to hold it's own to Dark Tranquility's "Character" when it comes out in January, Easily on par with DQ, and head an shoulders above Soilwork and Inflames or any other melodeath band out there at the moment period. the whole cd is killer, i'm not going to even try and pick a favorite song. If i had a choice in the matter since it was released in 2004 but won't be available in the u.s. till Feburary if i rembember correctly, i would give this cd the nod for CD of the year with Amon Amarths cd not to far behind. Enjoy."
