"It was a big surprise for me to get such a beatiful album in a second hand CD store in Istanbul. In the beginning, Lee Konitz was the only reason to buy that CD for me. But beyond his accompaniment, d'Amboriso's lovely compositions and singing has influenced me deeply. Now she is one of my favorite singers in the jazz scene, an unmentioned but shining star..."It might as well be spring" sang in French and in English and "How Deep is the Ocean" sang in passion are especially great."
