"...with each successive album. On this, their second disk, Mesh continues to travel the darker strata. This band consistantly stikes resonant chords of lust, rage, angst and loneliness. Before I'd even heard their work, I'd read a brief description of their sound as Depeche Mode meets NIN. In hindsight, i'd say more the former than the latter but really, Mesh has carved out their own distinct sound. Like so many darkwave/synthpop bands out there it's a shame that
this music can't be found on the radio or on MTV. Instead we're treated to a neverending stream of pap. Perhaps it's for the better, as it is Mesh and the rest (the Nine, Iris, Blind Passengers, Beborn Beton, Static Icon, etc) remain a treasured secret worth sharing. Favorite tracks: 'Confined', 'I don't think they know', and 'Something wrong'."
