"Ok first off there should be an award of music game of the year cause this one deserves it. Metal Gear Solid music is if not one of the only true gaming music you can listen too.
Every song is great and wonderfull. Escape made me feel kina sad knowing it was the music they used for the final Conflict between snake and grey fox. I dont remember I time that I havent listen to this music album. I listen to it at school and the gaming freaks love it. I tell em to buy it off amazon cause luckily they have it.
Over all the music scores are brilliant. THIS FRIGGIN CD IS BRILLIANT. I TOTALY RECOMEND IT ESSPECIALY IF YOURE A METAL GEAR SOLID FAN LIKE ME!
GET IT!"
The sounds of THE game Metal Gear Solid

"Metal Gear Solid is one 0f the greatest games ever made. That is what I and a lot of people think all over the world. If you have played it you have most likely been amazed how good it is. But a great game couldn't have becomed a great game without a great soundtrack(or background music if you prefer to call it that). The developers of it has not just picked out music tunes randomly. If you have played the game you will most likely recognize the songs(or instrumental as most of them are) from the game. I did. If your a fan of Metal Gear Solid you should buy is. I really recomend it. The album is just great to listen to. If you really hate MGS you could buy something eles but it still rocks. I cant't just describe how good it is. you gotta hear it for yourself. METAL GEAR SOLID RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Hollywood score from Japan.

"This is a pretty late review, but I had to add some comments. Game music really has come a long way since the good old chip tunes on the old home computer systems. The first thing I noticed about the Metal Gear Solid trailer (for the PSX) was the music, and then I got drawn into what looked like a trailer to a Hollywood movie. The music works well and does add to the atmosphere of the game, but only when you're actually playing the game. On its own, it feels like nothing more than the usual Hollywood action score. One can clearly notice that the artist was inspired by such scores. Just compare this to the "Speed" Original Soundtrack by Mark Mancina. For example, compareSpeed's The Rescue to Metal Gear Solid's Main Theme
Speed's Rush Hour to Metal Gear Solid's EscapeI am not putting the soundtrack down for that. In fact, I love this kind of score, and would recommend it to anyone who already owns CDs by Hans Zimmer, Mark Mancina and so on. It is really no big surprise that Konami hired Harry Gregson Williams for the sequel."
