Different but great

"I love this cd. But let's face it , it is very different from any of his other cds. It tells a story of love. One that we have all known. He is not belting out the songs , but instead, caressing you as he tells the story of a failed love. Picking himself up. Starting again. A decidedly jazz flavor is instilled in some of the songs and the passion from God Give Me Strength is done as only he can do. As I said. Different but great"

"While this is a whole different type of album it is absolutely fab. It tells the story of an affair from beginning to end and starting over again. Great songs by a variety of composers and sung with feeling and passion that only Michael Ball has. Almost a jazz feeling. Different but another hit for the fantastic UK Musical Theatre star."

"This is not his best album, but it's up there! I loved how it followed a story, and it really showed off his range. It's all songs that we've never heard him sing before, including some well-known hits, like "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce. Some of my new favorites are on this CD, including the last two, the playful sounding "I wish I were in Love Again" and fun "Me and My Shadow" the duet with Antonio Banderas. This is a must have for any Michael Ball fan."
In Love with Michael Ball

"I am a HUGE Michael Ball fan and was eagerly awaiting this album. I was not disappointed. From the beginning "You Had me from Hello" through to "Me and My Shadow" Michael takes you through a love affair between two people. The excitement of when you first meet, the ups and downs of being together, and unfortunately at times the break up of a relationship and moving on. It is a must have for all Michael fans. My personal favorite has gotten to be "What are you doing for the rest of your life" I am constantly amazed at both the range and versatility of this man's talent. If you haven't already discovered how wonderful Michael is, this would be a great beginning!"
