CD Reviews
One of the best tunes of 2004!!!

"This track is my second favourite of 2004 after Lola's Theme. Featuring amazing vocals by Shena, this track will get stuck in your head and you will be walking around singing that you can't wait for the weekend to begin... It's a cool track overall, lovers of great funky house tunes will definitely appreciate it. The video just adds to the song and the girls are very hot. I love it! Too bad it did not become a mainstream hit in North America... They just don't understand anything here :)"

"I have heard "the weekend" numerous times at the dance club here in town, and i was pleaseantly surprised to hear an awesome house song in such a mainstream spot. I'm a huge fan of all house, trance and techno music, and i can say with certainty that this song is top quality and it will blow you away. Guaranteed to rock every party and any crowd...."
This Song is Bangin'! It's Really On It!

"Why doesn't America have this song on the radio? It's such a killer track (not to mention the vid, too!) It's perhaps one of the best club songs of last year, without a doubt! Anyway, here's a runthrough on the tracklisting:
1-(The Radio Edit) Always a classic!
2-(Original Mix) The best version of the song, this track runs for a good 7-8 minutes! This is the one to burn off a friend, or download from iTunes, if you have it! Definitely a keeper!
3-(Original Mix, Vocal Version) Same time as the last track, just has the lyrics omitted. You can hear this version full at Ministry of Sound's website.
4-(Nick Fanciulli Mix) This version's quite odd. I wouldn't really recommend it to people who like to stick to the original version, but it's okay. Not to my liking, though.
CD-ROM section- (Video) This is, by far the sexiest video for a song. I don't know what's in the heads of people lately, branding the video for Eric Prydz' "Call On Me" #1 sexiest vid. This comes out on top by a long shot! (Considering there are no guys in this vid makes a difference, as well as no ugly 80's sportwear) Copy machines have never looked so enticing!
Overall, if not for the tracks, get this CD for the vid!"

My number one single for 2004!
From the first time I heard it played on BBC Radio One last year and French Radio Alouette this year I never forgot the tune. The Europeans create some of the best house music hands down. If you've spent any time across the pond then you know that songs like this routinely make their charts .
