The CD features the original album masters of some of Michael's biggest hits such as "Billie Jean," "Smooth Criminal," "Human Nature," and "Thriller" arranged in the same sequence as they appear in the film. The disc ends with two versions of "This Is It," the original and an orchestral version. "This Is It" is featured in the film's closing sequence and includes backing vocals by Michael's brothers, the Jacksons. Also included with the album are exclusive rehearsal photos.

"I grew up with Michael Jackson's music. Everyone has their own oddities, it doesn't mean they are not artists, actors, singers, dancers, song writers, creators, inventors, choreographers, fathers, brothers, sons, humans. This movie and corresponding cd shows MJ's humble side and undeniable non-reproducable talent. Buy the CD, enjoy his legacy, accept others as you would like to be accepted. See the movie if you get a chance."
