"MT is perhaps the most underappreciated artist I can think of. This may be largely due to the fact that he is not under the thumb of any record company, thereby maintaining control of his work, and being allowed the luxury of being true to himself. So, although no media blitz accompanies the release of each cd, the result, beginning with this beautiful album, is a collection of gorgeous songs. Once you listen to this, you'll have to have all his albums so you should start here at the beginning, It is certainly one of his best. Songs of life and love and nature will touch you....turn the lights out and put the headphones on.People often go on about artists that have special meaning to them, or songs they are attached to for whatever reason, but I can honestly tell you that anyone I've ever turned on to this album has loved it and has become a fan. MT is a wonderful singer songwriter with an amazing voice and a special gift for lyrics. Run This Way Forever is a guaranteed good listen. Check out his homepage to find out more about him."
*Waves* of passion for this album, pardon the pun.

"About four years ago, a good friend of mine put a set of headphones on me and introduced me to a song called "Waves". That song was so haunting and so beautiful it adhered itself to my soul. It helped me through a particularly dark period of my life, and I became obsessed with finding a copy of it for myself. I was crushed when I couldn't find it in stores and no one had ever heard of the artist so they could even order it for me. And so my four year long quest began. Every time I went somewhere I just "had" to check in their music section to see if I could find anything by Michael Tomlinson. I searched the web but came up empty handed. Finally, one night I was browsing online and stumbled across Michael Tomlinson's webpage. To say I was ecstatic was a vast understatement. Not only did I immediately order the CD with my song on it, I got an E-Mail response back from Mr. Tomlinson and a personally autographed version of the CD. I've been listening to Waves ever since and have discovered I like his other songs so much I'm going to buy the rest of his albums as well...and I'm a frequent visitor to the Michael Tomlinson website.... I highly recommend this album. :-)"

"Fabulous accoustic work and haunting lyrics set this one above all MT's work. If you're just bumping around and wondering which MT to buy, this is it. It will touch and awaken parts of you that may now be dormant."

"This is a great CD. Thank goodness someone still had it. I listened to this in the early 80's and loved "Yellow Windows". I know this CD is soon out of circulation, so I was blessed to secure it.
I'll be speeding along the open hills of PA and put this CD in the player, and the melodies bring back the old days of Seattle..and my pleasant introspective memories of how far I've come since then."
