Excellent song collection of Michael Wong, worth collecting

"When I was in middle school, one of my friends love the music group Wu Yin Liang Pin very much. She often listened to and sang their songs, seemed to be intoxicated. I was interested in what beautiful songs they're, and asked my friend for recommendation. She sent me a mp3 track which is a song of Michael Wong named "Di Yi Ci (First Time)". This is the most famous song of Michael after Wu Yi Liang Pin disbanded. I had been immersed in this song for several days and often sang along on the booklet which my friend scanned for me. I bought the first album of Michael which was maken up after Wu Yin Liang Pin disbanded, to my surprise, almost every song in the album is glorious! This CD has been in my CD player for a long time, I had to listen to it before I go to bed. After this album, once Michael's new album is published, I would buy it right away. And now I have got 4 albums of his, "Di Yi Ci (First Time)" "Guang (Light)" "Tong Hua (Fairy Tale)" and "Yue Ding (Commitment)". All the songs are beautiful and worth listening to over and over again to me. I have to admit that Michael is a talented singer, because most of his songs were composed by himself, and he wrote some of the lyric. He has played piano since he was 10 years old and plays excellently. Because of his musicianship, he composed many songs that are beautiful and always recognized by many people. What's more, he sometimes write songs for some famous singer and most of these songs are well-known. However, the songs he composed and performed by himself are the best in my opinion. Well, it's impossible that all the songs are the best, my favorites are "Mei Ni De Ri Zi (Days without You)" "2999 Nian De Sheng Dan Jie (Christmas in 2999)" "Hui Dao Yi Ge Ren (Return to Loneliness)" "Peng You Shou Ri Feng (First Day of Being Friends)" "Shou Ji Liu Yan (Message of Mobile Phone)" and "Tong Hua (Fairy Tale)" which was very famous in 2005. Then I found this 2-disc CD contained best of Michael Wong months ago then purchased the Taiwan edition. To my excitement, these 2 discs contains a lot of Michael's songs that I love very much!

Just as how I expected, the song "Di Yi Ci (First Time)" is the first track of this CD collection, this is the most famous song of Michael after all. Just like this song, "Tong Hua (Fairy Tale)" is really famous in China. When the album named "Fairy Tale" had been published in China, this song has been played everywhere for a long time, and a lot of singers also loved to performed this song. Besides, the music video of "Fairy Tale" touched many people's heart. The song "Peng You Shou Ri Feng (First Day of Being Friends)" impressed me much after I first listened to it, both the tune and lyric are beautiful, but really makes me feel sad. Lovers promised that they would be friends forever after they were apart, but I really doubt this and want to know how the people who have the very experience think. "Shang Xin Di Tie (Sorrowful Subway)", just like the name of it, is a sorrowful song. I first listened to this song in the winter of 2003, that was really a cold winter in the south although without snow. I was tuned in to this song and my tears fell. My tears fell just because of a song for the first time, I was a little amazed. Well, "Hui Dao Yi Ge Ren (Return to Loneliness)" is as well, a beautiful but sorrowful song, however, I love song like this. "Shao Nian (Teenage)" which was performed by Michael with Cao Ge is really a lovely song. I always recognize how I was when 14 or 15 years old, lively, vigorous and a little capricious. We can never go back to the old times, but all the memories are beautiful and can always be recognized by us, it's the best, isn't it? "2999 Nian De Sheng Dan Jie (Christmas in 2999)"... How to describe this song? Oh, yes, romantic! "Wow, what a romantic song!" I thought when I first listened to it. In this song, we can hear the sound of the bells, sleigh of Santa Claus and white snow falls. I played this song with the computer in our classroom at the Christmas Eve of 2004 when I was in high school. My friends who have known this song before sang together, this was the last Christmas in high school, happy and romantic that we would never forget. "Xiang Zuo Zou Xiang You Zou (Turn Left, Turn Right)" is a theme song of a TV series. I haven't watched this series, maybe it's romantic. Whatever, this song is very pure and beautiful with strong belief of love. I love the sound of piano in this song, it's really suitable for Michael's voice.

Besides, "Shou Ji Liu Yan (Message of Mobile Phone)" "Mei Mei (Sister)" "Hai Bian (The Seashore)" and "Tian Tang (Heaven)" which are from the album "Fairy Tale" are excellent too. Hmm, maybe I can say that "Fairy Tale" is my favorite album of Michael. Well, it's a pity that one of my favorites from "Fairy Tale" which was named "Ji De Wo Ai Ni (Remember that I Love You)" is not in this collection. However, almost all the famous songs of Michael are in this collection, this is really a good recommendation to all the fans of Michael's music."

"Unlike the previous reviewer stated, this particular product does NOT contain two CDs. I just bought it and it contains 1 CD with 15 tracks, just like the product description above says. This is because this is the Japanese version of the album. The Hong Kong version does in fact contain 2 CDs with 14 tracks each, but this is not it. Just thought I'd clear that up.



Other than that, great album! Just recently got into listening to his music. Wang Guangliang is amazing!"
