"Of all the CDs I have purchased this year, this one has got to be my favorite. This independent and literally brilliant artist never fails to satisfy with each new release. I could go on continuously about each track on this CD, but all I will really say to people who appreciate REAL musicianship, a wonderful voice, infectious songwriting and a terrific blues-rock sound is BUY IT! This CD will not disappoint and aims to please all the way. Also, just when I thought that the highly recommended CD "Beneath The Devil Moon" was Michelle Malone's crowning masterpiece, she releases the marvelous "Sugarfoot" nine years later, and in my opinion, the best CD of her career. Thank you "Moanin' Michelle" and hope to hear you play at Nietchze's in Buffalo soon!"

"Michelle puts out yet another amazing piece of work. Michelle's southern toned voice combined with her amazing guitar playing abilities makes this CD a must have! There is not one song on this CD that you will not want to jump into and follow along with. To completely appreciate this independent artist I encourage you to not only buy this CD but also a few of her pervious CDs. A few of Michelle's CD are a must have to start, fill, or finish any great blues collection you may have!"
Moanin's addictive

"Moanin' Michelle Malone's latest album "Sugarfoot" is absolutely incredible. It will take you through every emotion you have and it will keep your feet tapping. Miss Miss'ippi is so raw and powerpacked it is guarenteed to get you going. Beyond the Mountain is a beautiful heart wrenching lullabye. Tighten Up the Springs is fun and will get you dancing. I've been listening to this album constantly since I got it a few weeks ago. Michelle's musicianship and talent are undeniable.
Happy Listening!!!!

""The singer has rarely sounded better or more passionate. She's confident without an ounce of pretension and seems as relaxed and self-assured. If this raw, lean and mean CD brings Malone much deserved recognition, she's earned every ounce of it the hard way" - All Music Guide"
Malone does it again!

"I've been a fan since the beginning of Michelle's career and with every new album comes a deeper respect for her talent.
Her voice never sounds better...her guitar playing is off the hook! I guess life is good for her because it shows with this record...
Get Sugarfoot folks!...You'll dance and cry and find out what it's like to feel soulful....
