"Any Mike Knott fan will truly appreciate and endorse Knott's love for the acoustic guitar melody. Knott is an experienced master of the underground punk/alternative scene, but always reaches out and rises above the cliche sounds/images of that scene. In Strip Cycle, Mike focuses on original acoustic alternative songwriting, and many songs such as Tatoo, Bad Check, and Milk & Peas include Mike's ingenius melding of guitar and cello - an altogether beautiful sound! Knott also includes an element of fun and humor in his lyrics, others are deep ruminations, and finally, in songs such as Light My Fuse, Burnin on Fire, and the ultra-witty Rockstars on H, he really jams (acoustically of course)! If acoustic is really not your thing, check out Knott's other band, the Aunt Bettys, or his solo release Fluid."

"Mike Knott is the best at what he does, and what he does is write and create skewed shades of light and dark music that ultimately points the listener to the giver of life.
Knott's guitar is a mix of sweet, straightforward chords and minor chords that leave you drenched.
Knott's other albums and collections have a "Ramones" sound, while Strip Cycle is more acoustic and personal.
Once you experience Mike Knott you will search for every disc and compilation that he has been a part of...and you will not be disappointed
Grab this disc."

"Awesome, Unique Personal. I own it. I reccomend you do too. Too few people know about this album, probably cause Tooth & Nail doesn't know what to do with good music when it falls into their lap. Get this while you can!"
Awesome (johnny cash have a seat)
