"I have heard the original "We Want Miles" album, (actually I heard a tape copy of it) and it is an excellent live album. The recording quality was indicative that it was a produced album, not a bootleg. The album contains the awesome tune "Aida" from Miles' 1981 "Man with the Horn" album. I suspect that the track listing is incorrect and one of the duplicate "Back Street Betty"'s is probably Aida. I remember that the live Aida on the original album contained an extended percussion solo, which was breathtaking. Why this hasn't been available for so long, I don't know. I would certainly buy it if it were at a reasonable cost, like most of the other Miles Davis live albums. I'm still tempted, though. The original album is worthy of 5 stars, at least to people who like this music. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who only has Kind of Blue and Sketches of Spain, but you liked "Man with the Horn", this is better. If the album has been transferred to CD with competence, then I'm sure this CD is excellent. Worth the price? You decide."
