"i was flattered to find mina in the amazon music range - they are from berlin, they are great but they are not very well known - yet. anyone who likes exciting instrumental music will be glad to have bought this cd - it's terribly 90ies."

It is imperative that you get this CD.

"Mina are a four-piece instrumental band from Germany. Their music can best be described as Stereolab meet Gang of Four at the local discotheque. The songs on the album all tap a frictionless disco groove equally well suited to sitting or moving. In a word: efficient."

"I first heard the song p.etit.e on the Peter Thomas "Warp Back To Earth" compilation and completely fell in love. It sounded like Plone on speed and I had to have the full length. Although the rest of the songs on the album aren't quite as exciting as p.etit.e, they're all just as worthy. Think of Tortoise if they were less contrived and more into having fun. Or instrumental Stereolab circa Emperor Tomato Ketchup days. In other words, get it! ;)"
