"After a change in name (one word), sound and the addition & subtraction of a few band members (most famously, the addition of Jason Everman, who was a member of both Soundgarden & Nirvana, never recorded with either of them & was fired by both bands), Mindfunk were ready to go. Thinking they had made a great record. And they had. But, as the story goes, the day the band finished recording their cd, Sony Music dropped the band. Hence, the title, "Dropped."



Their old east-coast friends, Jon & Marsha Zazula, stepped in and released the record on their own label, Megaforce. Again, great artwork, photos & vibe presented by the band. But, better yet, an amazing record. "Mama, Moses & Me" sets itself apart as the song that might've gotten some airplay which never really happened. But all 11 tracks are excellent. One of the best releases in the '90s. Hands down! I got the chance to see them play on Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, CA at a now-defunct club that was pretty much just a total pit. The show was plagued by bad sound equipment that the club owned and it represented the bad-luck that Mindfunk endured during their entire career. Too bad. They were great!"

"Ive been listening to all kinds of music since a child. This Band [much less this album] is a legend in its own time. If you enjoy Rock that makes you feel like your the star and you really appreciate hardcore driving rythums with melodies that make ya wanna do the Superchief scream - then get ready for Mindfunk. Definitley one of the greatest bands I have ever (and I mean ever) heard!"
