"Mindy had some success as a singer, especially on radio, while she also had minor American hit records including duets with Guy Mitchell (not included in this set). Although Mindy was a hugely talented singer with a wonderful voice and a vibrant personality, she never made the big breakthrough.
This collection of Mindy's music demonstrates her talents admirably. She was well capable of singing ballads and up-tempo songs equally brilliantly. Excellent renditions of Little things mean a lot, Hey there, Mister wonderful, Lullaby of Broadway, No other love, But not for me, Down by the riverside, Vaya con dios and What do you want to make those eyes at me for are interspersed between obscure but lovely songs, all superbly performed.
If you enjoy female singers of the forties and early fifties, give Mindy a chance. She was just as good as the famous ladies of her era."
