"I'm sorry but this is not Minus. Hardly close. Yes, it is more accessible and yes the sound is cleaned up but what Jesus Christ Bobby was is what actually had turned me on to the band. It was raw, it was different and I believed that it would lead towards a path of new music to come ala JCB. Halldor Laxness suffers heavily under the more mainstream sound and is less interesting than Minus's previous effort. I can just about stand the first track on this cd but that's about it. I'm sorry, whoever said "this is what punk music should sound like" should retake their music education. Halldor Laxness is far from punk and hope that punk will never sound like this. I'm glad that it sofar doesn't. If you really enjoyed JCB then stay away from HL. Its not worth your penny for which it's currently being offered for. This review gets 1 star for being so cheap.
