CD ReviewsReally good complialtion mistermaxxx@yahoo.com | usa | 02/02/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "this is a Good collection by the Miracles in the Post smokey Robinson era. no topic or subject matter was off limits&this makes these songs that much stronger for that very reason.I enjoy this collection&always have dug the Miracles." LIKE ALBUM YOLANDA | YONKERS, N.Y. United States | 04/30/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "LIKE ALBUM BUT LOOKING FOR THE MIRACLES AND SMOKEY ROBINSON WITH SOME OF THE SAME SONGS" You Need a Miracle! Mister Melody | Washington, DC | 10/04/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "As is the case with the post-Diana Ross Supremes, people tend to dimiss the second phase of The Miracles career. This is unfortunate, because if they took the time to really listen, they'd find that their output is highly enjoyable. These 18 tracks collated from their post-Smokey period prove that the group was still full of good ideas. Released during the more open, experimental early 70s era of Motown, the tracks are the first by the Miracles in years to show a real group sound. Billy Griffin's falsetto proved a real asset, as its edge was a bit different from the softer, more sensual tone of Smokey's. The title track, "Do it Baby" and "What Is a Heart Good For" excel. The real winner is "I Love You Secretly," a stunning Marvin Gaye-produced opus presented in a alternate version. Track for track this collection is a winner. Highly recommended."
