"Silence, instead of confrontation"

"This is a lyric in the song "My mind still speaks", well their music does nothing to reflect this statement. They are very industrial, very angry and very original. Definitely a chill out album for an angry mind. Few people will appreciate the raw intensity of these "noise merchants", but they sure wake you up."
Never has Rabid Thrash Sounded so Sincere

"This album is a melodic/noise/thrash tour de force. The lyrics are very poetic and some of the best written for a record. Very self-introspective. The feel of the album is definitely in a darker, much heavier vein of "The Downward Spiral," with the final track, "2 seconds," sounding much more serial-killer in dementia as the other slow track on the album, "I swallow." There isn't much singing on here, but Wiren's voice drips emotion without ever sounding whiny... just the opposite in fact. There isn't another band that has an album that sounds like this... in terms of being an original take on industrial/metal hybrids, this album is unique. Their later material absorbed alot from Godflesh and even a little manson and type-O on the last disc, "Your World was Never Mine to Share." There is barely any solos so don't look for that kind of thing, this disc is simply pure emotion with no technical wankery. The riffs themselves are very unique, the only exception being "The Only Way," and "This is no dream," both sound reminiscient of ministry... by no means a rip off, but their influences show here.
Standout tracks? There's alot of variation, so I'll suggest some songs based on tempo.
Fast: The Only Way. While probably the least favorite song on the album, it's great to mosh to.
Slow: Happy? Is definitely a song for the depressed.
Medium: Sonic Attack is in my opinion one of the standout tracks."
