Synopsis

Album Description
Missa Johnouchi again teams up with the Li-Hua ensemble, to create the captivating sequel to their first popular album, ?Asian Blossoms.? The Li-Hua ensemble is the only quartet of its kind ? all women, playing traditional Asian instruments. Each member is also an award-winning soloist in her own right. Other musicians join in on this album as well, and a myriad of exotic Asian instruments (many of which are rarely heard on this continent) are intertwined with instruments of the West, to create this extraordinary musical journey. To enhance your enjoyment of the music, removable incense sticks are included in the spine of the CD jewel case.

"This is firstly great music to bring along for travelling. Each piece paints a beautiful picture as we move through both a emotional and physical journey."
Picturesque journey

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Like most all asian arts, this CD combines all types of creativity. Each song is like a chapter in Missa Johnouchi's travel through the ancient lands. The sound paints a picture of for each scene that goes through your mind. I'd hate to be prosaic and predictable but this music truly defines new age music. I plan to keep my eyes on Missa Johnouchi simply because of the pure pleasure the music affords me on it's travel."
