"What can I say, the dude is funky! While not always being a fan of remixes and maxi-singles, it's hard not to dance to these tunes. In particular, both mixes of "Drop a Beat" groove. The first mix still sounds fresh, a bit like FatBoy Slim, with rhythmic vocal drops in just the right place. The "deep mix" of "Beat" is more Technotronic-like, good for bringing out the lower end. It just depends what kind of mood you're in, as far as which mix you would prefer. "Electricity" was good, but not my favorite, and "UHF 2" reminded me of Jan Hammer, with it's airy strings/percussion mixture. Released in the early '90's, these songs were definitely influenced by the sounds that were happening at the time, and while I prefer Moby in his latest work, it's a blast going back and checking out his earlier work. Plus for the money, it's a very good value."
