Early Underground is material from when Moby's music was underground, from the Instinct days. represents music from early in his Instinct era. some are edits, most from hard to find 12" singles. older material, around 90 or 91. Very clubby, very different from his best know chill-techno. the original version of "Go" is almost unrecognizable. A good cd for the gym or in party shuffle.

For those of us around the techno, rave, dance, or club scene several years ago (the turn of the 90s), Moby's music is the embodiment of that atmosphere. This album is essential for anyone interested in what "early underground" and the early rave scene are all about. This album is fantastic, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who holds any interest in the evolution of techo, disc jockeys, the dance music culture and/or the underground rave scene."

"This C.D is quite the surprise coming from Moby! Used to his weird but funky tunes on c.d's like 18 and Play? This Album definitly is quite different from the other. Its more hardcore, it's more jamming and it's more rumble in the bronx. two thumbs up my man, props"
