Excellent retrospective CD with twenty great hits

"Mocedades were one of the truly great Hispanic groups to entertain millions of people in the twentieth century and into our times with their great albums. The CD gives us twenty of their greatest hits; and just one listen to this CD proves their uniquely beautiful talent!

The track set begins with "Amor De Hombre." The musical arrangement makes great use of the strings as they perform a song about men and romantic relationships. Mocedades harmonizes to perfection and "Amor De Hombre" will impress you very much! "Dónde Estás Corazón" gives us a light, pop music flavored ballad; they deliver "Dónde Estás Corazón," a charming love song, without a superfluous note--great!

Of course, "Eres Tu" is one of the greatest hits ever; this live track shows their excellent rapport with their audience. The musical arrangement couldn't be better and they sing their hearts out about their love for another. The chorus for "Eres Tu" is one of the most beautiful I've ever heard. "La Otra España" gives us another electric live track; the number uses the strings well; and the lead female singer delivers this to perfection. Moreover, "Tómame O Déjame" features Mocedades and their lead singer singing to her lover a passionate ballad. The rest of Mocedades harmonizes flawlessly; and the musical arrangement provides a great flourish for this fine ballad.

"Un Día De Domingo" has an excellent musical flourish for an intro; and when the singers come in this number takes flight!

The liner notes give us the song credits; and the artwork is great! I would have liked an essay but this is a minor disappointment.

Mocedades really shines on this excellent, overlooked CD. I highly recommend this for Mocedades fans; and people who enjoy classic pop vocals in Spanish will cherish this album for many years to come.
