"Man, what can I say, this music is some of the best Moe to come out of the Archives. This is 100% jam, so much better then the first release. Dr. Stan has shown here that he does know his Moe. I was a bit discouraged with the first show he picked, thinking that the first release would set the bar. Wrong I was, this show is filled with super energy, long jams, all the great licks we love. Cannot recommend this show enough, the sound quality is great too, I would stick to CD/FLAC for the best sound. Dr. Stan please hit us again with more of this. Jam on America.

"I love this new Dr. Stans! Again, if you don't know much about about these guys then don't start here, these are live recordings that lack somewhat in sound quality and are presented in their entirety, warts and all. This one captures the first night of moe.down 2, August 2001 in the rain no less. Energy is fierce and segue is the name of the game on this summer evening in upstate New York. Notable is the first appearance on disc of "Lazarus" while a primitive version featured here, an interesting look at the early incarnation of what has become a monster live. "Bass Jam > St. Augustine > Time Ed > Moth" .........just plain sick. Enjoy."

"moe. has put out a really good double disc. If you dont like long guitar solo's and intense drum solos then this isnt for you. But if it is pick up press play and ROCK OUT!"
