"Moke is an incredibly talented band from South London, overlooked by the general public because of poor promotion & marketing. "Superdrag", AKA "Moke" in the U.S.A. is Moke's debut album, released in 1998 by Ultimatum Records (who should be bankrupt soon because they are morons.) All 11 songs are killer & totally radio worthy. "Down", "Another Weekend", & "Wheel in Motion" were the record's singles, but I must mention the other gems on this album. "Mislaid the Key", "Wrong", & "Water" are 3 more very songy & beautifully written pieces that should be highlighted. Lead Singer, John Hogg, delivers strong soulful vocals remenicent of Rage Against the Machine & Lenny Kravitz. While guitarist, Sean Genockey, creates a thrilling guitar track that any blues/rock lover will admire. Don't get me wrong though, the entire band shines."Moke" is a solid album for people who enjoy hard rock. This is NOT an album with just-a-few-good-songs on it. The WHOLE album is worth the cost. Cheers mate!"
