"Well, It is true she is ahead of her time. because she trully can sing. And her voice is controlled and very vocally expressed. I wish I could hear more from mis mona lisa. I know I remember hearing " Just wanna please you" like way back on video vibes, in 96 i think. it's on tape i can check. well, ever since I have been looking out to see where she was and I remember her on like an episode of kenan and kel. she was like the father's daughter role. she could act. And if she wrote those songs I am very empressed. she is a very good artist. now a days they don't really have any of the good songs out. yeah I will admit i will dance to it, but it really doesn't make me want to hear it anytime of the day. There were some good artists when I grew up in the early 90's and I really hope she comes back and blows everyone. She is definetly someone you should know about. All the songs are great. Her beautiful face soulful voice and her down to earth lyrics would make anyone's day. esspecially if you just heard her."
Finally...I found it!

"Yet another one of my great cds that walked out of my house! This is the one cd that I had been trying for years to find, and I finally found it! Mona Lisa was (is) so talented. I was looking forward to her 2nd cd coming out, but that never happened. If she came out with a cd tomorrow, you best believe I would be the 1st in line to buy it! Love this girl's cd!"

"Who knows why some artists take a dip into early retirement. While the reasons are endless, Mona Lisa shined back in '96 making appearances on "Soul Train" with hits like "Can't Be Wasting My Time", "You Said", "Just Wanna Please U", "Music Makes Me High" and the remix to "Renee", two of the songs being from the LB family. But that was an astounding 8 years ago nearly in the making. Once again a flea markt sale led me to her breath-taking debut. Other than the tracks mentioned, her CD is very solid and her voice is gorgeous. Although she may never grace the music industry again, make sure to have this album in your library. Keep smiling, Mona."

"I believe I first heard Mona Lisa on Lost Boyz hit single "Renee (remix)"---her vocals really complimented that song. She was also singing on their single "Music Makes Me High". Then, when her single "Can't Be Wasting My Time" featuring Mr. Cheeks came out, I fell in love with it. This is a good album so go cop that disc."
