This album is very much in the tradition of the incomparable English/Swedish renditions on her Bill Evans collaboration (Waltz for Debbie). And if you haven't heard WfD sung in Swedish your education is incomplete. Rich. Lush. Sexy. Sublime."

"Once an unlucky candidate at the Eurosong contest (she got ... o point!), Monica Zetterlund by chance gained popularity in jazz, performing with the greatest musicians. A very fine singer, she is at ease as well with original jazz as with more unfamiliar Swedish jazz and her renditions in Swedish are very melodious. You ought to know this singer and consider her among the best jazz songbirds!"
