Tab is great. You are incorrect.

"You are absolutely wrong. The ORIGINAL version of Tab featured just Tab, 25,Longhair and Lord 13. Subsequent re-issues added songs from the Glitterhouse EP. And those added tracks were put on there without the knowledge of the band. So there."
Poor Effort for a Reissue

"What a dismal reissue this turned out to be. I'm a big fan of reissued and/or remastered albums from my favorite bands. Better sound, bonus tracks, cool booklet with extra liner notes, lyrics, pictures, etc. I'm a sucker for this stuff and I have no problem blowing my discretionary income on it. Usually I'm quite satisfied. Not the case here.
What did I get. Better sound, sure. Bonus track, yep a crappy live version of Spine of God that sounds like it was recorded on an old cassette tape. Extra liner notes, oh sure, Dave Wyndorf makes some brief comments on the album. No lyrics, pictures, credits, etc. The booklet is one folded page with Dave's thoughts on one panel.
My biggest outrage is that there are songs missing on here. The music is really the most important thing so to give me a reissue that is missing some of the originial tunes is unbelievable. I had the original cd so I know what was supposed to be on here. I give Amazon credit for listing the songs and times on the site, there is no false advertising. I just assumed they made a mistake but, sure enough, the cd is missing some key music. The original cd contained the following tracks and times:
Tab... 32:12
25 12:28
Longhair 4:09
Lord 13 3:38
Tractor 3:25 (early version redone on Powertrip)
As for the music, this is truly for the die hard Monster Magnet fan. This would be the last place to start if you are just a casual listener or just starting to get into Monster Magnet. You can read more reviews on the original version to decide if Tab...25 is a worthy purchase.
As for this reissued version, don't support this poor effort. Save your money and buy the original cd if you decide you need to have it.

A Psychedelic Space Odyssey

"If that title doesn't stray you, then please read on:
This CD contains Wyndorf's "psychedelic odyssey" side of his writing--no radio tunes here. Here's a breakdown of the tracks:
1 TAB..25 This 32 minute epic is excellent musicianship. It really flows well and is a recommended listen to ALL who dig this genre.
2 LONGHAIR This is actually 2 songs jammed together. The split is just after the 8:00 mark. The first number is great and the second one is a little less exciting.
3 LORD 13 Good song, but is weaker than the other ones here.
4 SPINE OF GOD (live) I just can't get into this song. The sound quality isn't even all that great. LISTEN BEFORE YOU BUY this MP3.
RECOMMENDED ADD-ON's:
BRAINSTORM from "Superjudge" and from "Spine Of God", get PILL SHOVEL & OZIUM (the demo version is better fitting). These 3 excellent numbers make an excellent finish to this album. Replace the live track with these, and you have a solid 5-STAR album! They are well worth the $$$!"
