"Half Japanese say all important songs are about monsters and girls. The Monster Trux say they're all about monsters and skateboarding. After listening to this album, I was convinced.This album splits the songs about 70%/30% in favor of skateboarding with a few songs that mix subjects. All of them are awesome though. Fast and hard. I can't say enough good things about this record. It reminds me of 80s punk bands like the Descendants and Agent Orange, but it's not simply a rehash of yesterdays styles. Its super hard and super fast. The vocals are powerful. It rips, it rages.Buy this record."

They grind your mind

"i had a perpetual headache, i was into rollerblading, and i was drinking wine spritzers until the monster trux came into my life. i watched SCRAPE throw down frontside grinds to tail, listened to the trux tell me to throw my sissy boots away. it was then that i realized that frontside slashers in the deep end, warm pbr, and svewngooli were the true drives in my life. i never looked back. the trux saved my life. i hear they wrote a new song, it's about louisville. another rumor abound - the rest of the band might start skating...some day."
