Along with Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian firmly cemented Monty Python's place in the comedic pantheon. Chronicling the life of Brian, who's born at the same time as Jesus and spends the rest of his life being mistaken for the Messiah, the film never misses a change for a yuck. In the best tradition of Monty Python, some of the greatest laughs are also the most squirm-provoking; the film's crucifixion finale, quite predictably, generated considerable outrage. The CD contains most of the film's best moments, including "Revolutionaries in the Amphitheatre" and "He's Not the Messiah/He's a Very Naughty Boy." Since having a TV in the car is dangerous, this is the perfect thing for the morning commute. --Genevieve Williams
