This same remastered & expanded CD is available direct from Bruford's web site (shipped and seviced by DGM in the USA) for a LOT less money than the price here (so is "Flags").
Also, when you order direct, you get a free sampler CD. The 2nd CD contains eight Bruford tracks from various CD's; each track is followed by an audio interview/commentary from Bill.
Unless you're a fan of paying more and getting less, buy it from Bill!"
One of the all-time classic jazz fusion records

"Former Yes members Patrick Moraz (keyboards: 1974-1976) and original drummer Bill Bruford (drums: 1968-1972) joined forces in 1983 to release the underrated classic 'Music For Piano And Drums.'
While fans of progressive rock might not appreciate this as much as jazz fans would, it's still something that's well worth checking out. 'Children's Concerto' is a nice way to open up a record, and other songs like 'Any Suggestions,' 'Living Space' and 'Eastern Sundays' are all great songs that are well worth listening to.
'Hazy' is probably the best song on the album, in my opinion. But the bonus track version of 'Hazy' is the version to listen to. That is virtually a jam session; it's 10:38 long, while the original 1983 album version that's also here is 6:32 long.
But, overall, this is a really underrated album from Moraz and Bruford. As a die-hard Yes fan, I'm really glad I own this.
Highly recommended for any Bruford, Moraz, Yes collector or jazz fan in general. An underrated classic. ENJOY!!!"
