"This is Juan Carlos Lozano's (Moenia's ex-vocalist) first solo project. Since he left Moenia to pursue his own project he spent several months working on this "innovative" musical style. Whether the music is innovative or not is up to the consumer, especially if they listen to spanish music. The album is great due to the well-written songs, the ones that stand out the most are "Ensename," "Hoy," and "Se Me Acaba." However, if you purchase this album the beats, blended with synthesizers and acoustic instruments, will have you constantly repeating it several times. Just listen to the haunting-sounding "No Es Lo Mismo" and "Falaz," the latter which is greatly accompanied by a female vocal which makes this song stand out the most. As a matter of fact, this is the only track where any back-up vocals are used, and this is one of the aspects that makes "Morbo" unique. Most of these songs are written by Juan Carlos Lozano, several are co-written with his brother Alejandro, and track #10 "Tengo de Ti," is co-written with Juan Carlos' ex-Moenia's band members (Jorge and Midi, and current Moenia vocalist Alfonso). This song is easily distinguished from the rest because it should have been included in a Moenia cd due to its fast, upbeat and electronic nature. Overall the song is fair but does not fit "Morbo's" style. You decide whether it's innovation because there are some beats and sounds that I have never heard in spanish music, then again the genre of electronic/synthesizer music is not really popular in Mexico. Plain and simple, this cd is unique and Juan Carlos adds spice with his voice. Buy this album if you are a Moenia fan, especially if you loved their first self-titled cd because whether you want to accept it or not, "Morbo" is innovative in it's own right. (...)"

"La comparacion es inevitable. Pero sin embargo, JC Lozano incorpora nuevos sonidos que hacen a MORBO diferente de Moenia.
Claro todo queda en familia. MORBO sin duda pasa a formar parte de esa musica en espan~ol que casi nunca se escucha en la radio (al menos aca en EEUU), de esa musica que lucha por ser diferente de la clasica "balada pop", la salsa, etc.
JC Lozano definitivamente sigue rompiendo barreras. Hacen falta gente como en en un mundo musical ya saturado con tanto de lo mismo, algo que necesita un cambio urgentemente."

"When I first heard Morbo's first single "Hoy" on MTV, I thought it was Moenia. It was, sort of. After departing ways with Moenia after their first cd, Lozano produced this excellent album. Good beats and lyrics make this album a must buy for any music fan, especially those of Moenia's. An excellent choice for people not used to listening in Spanish as well. The cd is one of those albums you actually listen to every song, from beginning to end. The only drawback? Ten songs aren't enough; the cd leaves you begging for more..."
