A heart-felt reminiscence of the Alhambra (Granada, SPAIN), under the guidance of the singing of the Granadan Enrique Morente. It features ten unique themes in which he has enjoyed the cooperation of Tomatito, Juan Habichuela, Estrella Morente, Israel Galvan and Blanca Li and non-flamenco musicians like Pat Metheny. Enrique Morente is also the producer of the record. In it, he has adapted poems drawn from many trends in Spanish literary tradition, like San Juan de la Cruz, Mar¡a Zambrano, Miguel de Cervantes and Luis Cernuda. It was originally the soundtrack of a documentary that was based on the Alhambra, but little by little it became a record with a life of its own.
