"For most National memorial events, Mozart's Requiem has been the only choice. But as Americans we need something that belongs to our rich culture. Our culture has soo many memories and tragedies. D-Day, Pearl Harbor, September 11th, and tragedies such as the LA Riots. It's time to say move over Mozart. We have our own requiem, and that requiem is the "DeMars American Requiem.""
