Chilling...

"Not too much originality here as far as melodic death goes, but the music is far superior to many melodic death bands out there. If you are looking for a good melodic death band, Mors Principium Est is it. Their music, as I would describe it, sounds epic simply because of the fact that they have a keyboardist and songs that do not have a repetitive formula. Their songs are both interpretive and heavy, as well as catchy. Heck, in Unborn they even have a female singer doing some singing. What more could you ask for? Melodic death metal has really evolved from being very thrashy and fast (At the Gates, old Soilwork) to something that shows plenty of beauty. Get this."
Death melodic metal meets industrial metal...

"When I first listened to MORS PRINCIPIUM EST I recognized several styles mixed, as well as some bands they can name as influences...MORS PRINCIPIUM EST (MPE from now on) plays some kind of death melodic metal, combined with keyborads in an industrial metal atmosphere with diferent tempos and speed changes...

MPE has the speed, the tempos of bands such as At The Gates, Carnal Forge or Dimension Zero, the melodies and blazing riffs of swedish outfits such as At The Gates, Darkane or Soilwork, mixed together with industrial touches more proper of Strapping Young Lad...The keyboards create an apocalyptic atmosphere, giving MPE's approach a more progressive touch, with riffs that climb to higher levels with higher tones resulting not only in an original recipe, but loaded with emotions as well...

The singer remains me to HATESPHERE's Jacob Bredahl and DIMMU BORGIR'S Shagrath, with a more gutural style...

You'll find brutal and short songs such as "Altered State Of Consciosness" or "Unborn", and longer songs like "Pure"... Pesonally I prefer the short songs, because in the longest ones the bands tends to repeat them selves pointlessly...

In this album the industrial influences are more obvious, both in sound and music, setting a difference from their previous album "Inhumanity", which I recommend without a doubt...But in "UNBORN", MPE really made something "different" in the metal scene...As a bonus track you have "Blood oF Heroes", a MEGADETH Cover...

Anyway, In the metal desert of monotony and mediocrity, MPE managed to be an oasis with an original proposal that deserves not to remain in the unknown..."
