"An interesting thing about when a band takes time off to purse solo project, is that you get to see what each member brings into the mix, and how good a synergy they produce. A-ha is my favorite band, so I bough "Wild Seed" just for that fact not knowing what to expect...I was blown away. Not putting down in any way Morten's work as A-ha's vocalist, in this solo effort you feel the emotional color of every song coming thru with the intention of conveying the message as never before. This is particularly evident in it's spiritual songs: Lord, Lay Me Down Tonight and Ready To Go Home. Brodsky Tune and East-Timor contrast as political themes, one sung in anger, and East-Timor as a beautiful plea of liberation. This album almost made me wish a-ha didn't get back together (kidding)...just makes me wish Morten would make more albums in English."

"Twelve years after the initial release of Wild Seed, through serendipity I stumbled upon a fanspace for Morten Harket on myspacedotcom. I got to listen to the complete versions of four or five of the songs included on the CD. Through searches on another BroadcastYourself site, I found several other of the titles.



I realized that I had to have this music and ordered the CD. I have had it for a couple of months now, and go back to listen to it constantly. It's like ear-candy, it's pure pleasure and addictive.



This is an amazing body of work. I've revisited a-ha's music since buying this and am happy to see that Morten is writing more songs. This can only add to his already great impact on the group. With Morten's voice, and now wonderful music writing skills, a-ha has an incredible edge in the industry. Why, oh, why are they not recognized more on this "desert island" named the U S of A?



The import duty on this is, IMO, ridiculous! If you want the CD; get it used, get it like new, just get it. You will never look back, and you will never regret your purchase. If you come to love it like I do: Spread the word!"
