"I love this CD. From Jesse, to People Tree I think this mixes the best of Soul, Neo Soul, and Rock. Paul Weller meets Maysa. After 5 years in my library, I still listen once a week. Got me through med school!!!"
Nice.

"Every once in a while a band like Mother Earth comes along that produces some really great tunes, combines a bunch of different forms and relies on their sheer musical talent. Then of course, they break up right when things look like they are going to take off. This really is a solid album that can be listened to over and over. I lent my copy to a friend (now a former friend) and never got it back, so I came on here to order it and figured I would write a review. True, this album has been around for a while, but it is still relevant and could easily fit into what a lot of artists are trying to do today. Tracks like Saturation 70 and Apple Green show the balance than can be achieved between great vocals and sharp instrumentals (especially some great, but still subtle guitar work). There are very few bands that can produce an acid-jazz (that was the term when this came out, although I don't really know if it fit, the term came from a label anyway) album this complete, this easy on the ears and the soul."
